From the Thursday night "pre-party" where nearly 300 of you kicked off our fourth IslandFest, to Friday night's opening waterfront show under the stars, to Saturday's packed house to Sunday's gorgeous sunset show on the beach, it was a weekend that I'll never forget. Thanks to all of you who took your vacation time and chose to spend it with us in Mexico! To all the San Carlos locals who showed up in full force to support this event. And to the artists who shared the stage with me: Kelly McGuire, Rob Mehl, and Gary Seiler. Folks were here from all over the place. Washington, California, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, hell Florida! It was like a big family reunion, with friends from previous IslandFests reuniting and new friends getting together for the very first time. That's probably my favorite part of IslandFest. Watching the crowd and the fun you're having.... Just to show you what kind of folks show up for this event, this year's crowd raised over $6000 for the Castaway Kids project! And many took the time to visit the local soup kitchen and barrio where we focus our volunteer efforts. I could go on and on about what an awesome time we had. But the pictures tell the story.
